Bio

Courtney Holmes was a standout athlete at Alpena High School, serving as team captain and earning all-conference, all-area and all-region honors.

She then went on to play at ACC where she was again team captain, earned all-conference honors and was an academic all-American.

Coach Holmes graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in movement science and moved back to Alpena after graduation. She has coached at Alpena Public Schools and with the Alpena Chaos volleyball club program.

She took over the Lumberjack volleyball program in 2024.
