ACC Loses to NCMC and Mid
The ACC men's basketball team lost two tough ones this week, losing to North Central Michigan College, 57-48 and to Mid Michigan College, 125-80.
At home against NCMC, the Lumberjacks rallied to make the game close after trailing 27-16 at the half, but couldn't pull it out.
Robert Williams was the leading scorer with 14 points, while Derian Williams tallied 12. Chas Stanek had 10 points and eight rebounds.
Mid Michigan, undefeated in the league at 13-0 and 24-3 overall, led 69-42 at the half en route to the win.
Robert Williams again led ACC with 23 points, five assists and four rebounds. Derian Williams scored 17 points. Chas Stanek had 14.
Xavier Blumberg scored a season-high 10 and Nick Fileccia grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds.
ACC (2-20 overall, 1-12 conference) closes out the season at home on Tuesday, Feb. 25 against Delta College.
