Cross Country Hits Its Stride at Ferris

ACC's cross country runners ran a total of 21 minutes, 33 seconds faster than the first meet of the season - an average of 2:41 improvement per runner.
"It was an outstanding day for the ACC runners, all of our runners ran season bests," coach Mark Jacobs said.
Ryan Allen (Reed City) led the team with a time of 28:32 which is the 14th fastest 8K all-time at ACC. Allen finished fourth among the JUCO runners.

Four teams ran in the event - Ferris State, Macomb Community College, Muskegon Community College and ACC. The Lumberjacks finished fourth in the tough field.
ACC competes next on Friday, Sept. 20 at Muskegon CC.
