ACC Runners Up in Firebird Invitational

Four ACC runners finished in the top 10 at the Firebird Invitational hosted by Kirtland Community College leading the Lumberjacks to a second place finish.

"First time in five years we have had four guys under 30 minutes in the same race," ACC coach Mark Jacobs said.

Host Kirtland was the winner by four points over the Jacks.

ACC's runners were:

Ryan Allen 28:49 - 6th place

Eli Allen 29:36 - 8th place (season best time)

Carter Upper 29:50 - 9th place (career best time)

Ty Kailing 29:55 - 10th place (career best time)

Calvin Hibbler 34:47 - 15th place (season best time)

Benedikt Purat 37:24 - 19th place 

"We are exactly where we need to be at this point in the season," Jacobs commented. "We have less than three weeks to go, and we are committed to work hard and hit our goals."
