ACC Loses Two to Bay

Emily Jackson hit her first collegiate home run but it wasn't enough as Bay College swept ACC, 12-4 and 11-4.

Jackson pinch hit in the last inning of the night, the bottom of the seventh in game two and hit a ball over the centerfield fence.

Kenna Tippman was 5 for 6 on the day with two doubles and scored four runs. Rhea Amrich was 3 for 7 including two doubles and scored twice.

Abigail Platt had two hits and drove in two runs.

Taylor Krentz was the starting pitcher in both games and struck out four batters in 8.2 innings.

ACC (2-15 overall, 1-9 conference) hosts Grand Rapids Community College on Friday and Saturday in MCCAA Northern Conference play.
