Softball Scores Runs by the Bunch but Falls to Delta

ACC softball showed they can score runs on Sunday at Delta College, leading 7-0 in the opener before losing late, 9-8 and dropping the nightcap, 15-6.

Magdalyn Sandoval homered in both games and Jordan Ashley went deep as well in game one. Taylor Krentz pitched well for the Lumberjacks. Ava Wesner provided excellent defense behind the plate as did Kenna Tippman at shortstop. Alaina Neubecker was a threat on the bases for ACC, stealing multiple bases.

The doubleheader concluded the fall schedule. The Lumberjacks will open regular season play in the spring in South Carolina.
